"Wizard of Oz" - hints:

-Face/off: Castor`s son, Adam, hears the song "Over the rainbow" (which is from the movie "Wizard of Oz") over his headphones during the shoot out at Dietrich`s house, which Sean Archer (as Castor Troy) puts over the boy`s ears!

-Wild at Heart: During the whole movie there are hints, that links to the "Wizard of Oz"-movie!

Good question, Lady T.! I suppose, you are refering to a scene in the movie "Peggy Sue Got Married"? Not sure, as I haven`t watched it in a while!

I was watching SA today because it was on the TV and when Balthazar has to disguise himself, he looks like he did in World Trade Center, accent n all.

 

There is a Wizard of Oz marquez in Valley Girl.

I can`t remember, that there was a "wizard of oz"-reference in Valley Girl as well! But, I think, because I haven`t watched it in a while, and, probably, should watch it again!^^

Not sure if this one really counts but in Sorcerers Apprentice when he disguises himself as a NY cop he looks just like John from World Trade Center, moustache and all!

Magical movie theme with doves involved:

In NEXT, he playes a stage magician, who produces two white doves  out of his jacket at the beginning of his Magic Show in Las Vegas!

In SORCERER`S APPRENTICE he plays a mastersorcerer, who take care of a white dove (he fixes it`s leg) after he rescued Dave from Horvath and they land on the Chrysler Building!

 

Watching "Rumble Fish" last night, I noticed a certain dialogue between "Motorcycle Boy" (Mickey Rourke`s Character) and "Rusty James" (Matt Dillon`s Character), that reminded me on the dialogue between "Juri Orlov" (Nic`Character) and his brother "Vitali" (Jared Leto`s Character) in LOW:

Motorcycle Boy (askes a few times): "Why?"

Rusty James: "Why, what?"

Motorcycle Boy: "Why are you so f...ed up all the time?"

Plus: In both movies, the older brother askes the younger brother "Why?"!

 

"Full Moon"- references/appearances:

- Moonstruck: That movie plays around a full moon!

- The Croods: After they return to their cave from the food-hunt, Ugga says: "Bathnight! The moon is full!" (or something similar)

- The Ant Bully: In one scene, Zoc is standing in a big full moon, as he waits for Hova, and sighs!

- Drive Angry: Milton must save his granddaughter, before Jonah King has the chance to sacrifice her on the full moon (to bring hell on earth)! We also see the Full Moon in the rear view mirror of Miltons car a few times!

Those were the movies, I can remember, with that reference! Not sure, if they are the only ones, so if anyone knows of other NICe movies, with a "Full Moon"- reference, then, please feel free to post it here as well!
