-Face/off: Castor`s son, Adam, hears the song "Over the rainbow" (which is from the movie "Wizard of Oz") over his headphones during the shoot out at Dietrich`s house, which Sean Archer (as Castor Troy) puts over the boy`s ears!
-Wild at Heart: During the whole movie there are hints, that links to the "Wizard of Oz"-movie!

"Our Town"- references: (Although, no link between two movies, but, I hope, it counts, too)
In ICHTY, Brigid Fonda`s character, Ivonne Biasi, mentiones infront the judge, that she did "Our Town" in collage!
At the pressconference for the SA-promo, Nic mentiones, that he and Director Jon Turteltaub auditioned for the same role in "Our Town" in High School, which Jon Turteltaub won, but Nic had also a minor role in that play!

I can`t remember, that there was a "wizard of oz"-reference in Valley Girl as well! But, I think, because I haven`t watched it in a while, and, probably, should watch it again!^^
The Quote: "Some Guy is here!":
FM:When "Manhattan Jack" visits Kate in the real world (after the glimps), he enters her Appartment, while she is busy with preparing for her moving to Paris, her Assistant calls: "Kate, some guy is here!" to Kate, after she sees Jack entering, who asked for Kate!
GISS:When Memphis is entering the cafe, where his mother works, and asks a waitress for Helen (his mother), she calls to her co-worker: "Helen, some guy is here!"

Not sure, if Nic did that reference on purpose, but, in "Matchstick Men", in the scene, when Roy and Frank are coning the older couple (Mr. and Mrs. Schaeffer), Roy introduces his partner and himself as "Agent Calloway" and "Agent Coll"! It could be a link/reference to The Cotton Club, where the famous musician "Cab Calloway" played in that Club, (in that movie, of course, played by an actor), and Nic`s character, he plays there, is based on a real life mobster named Vincent "Mad Dog" Coll!

Castor Troys epic coat from Face/Off looks similar to Tom Welles coat from the opening of 8MM
The glasses Joe has when he is on the boat in Bangkok Dangerous and the ones that Jack Halcombe in Frozen Ground has when he is in the helicopter
In Seeking Justice and Next when he is in a car and going toward a train
Not sure if this one really counts but in Sorcerers Apprentice when he disguises himself as a NY cop he looks just like John from World Trade Center, moustache and all!
I've had these awhile but never posted them for some reason!!! Kept them in my notes on my ipad! Wanted to find pictures to help showcase the point but I couldn't find a few and I didn't want to crowd up this thread with lots of pictures, hope thats okay
In NEXT, he playes a stage magician, who produces two white doves out of his jacket at the beginning of his Magic Show in Las Vegas!
In SORCERER`S APPRENTICE he plays a mastersorcerer, who take care of a white dove (he fixes it`s leg) after he rescued Dave from Horvath and they land on the Chrysler Building!

In NT1, Ben Gates "steals" the car of his dad, Patrick Gates (Jon Voigt), to escape the FBI! In GISS, Memphis Raines steals cars (with his crew; including Sway, who his played by Jon Voigt`s daughter, Angelina Jolie)!

Watching "Rumble Fish" last night, I noticed a certain dialogue between "Motorcycle Boy" (Mickey Rourke`s Character) and "Rusty James" (Matt Dillon`s Character), that reminded me on the dialogue between "Juri Orlov" (Nic`Character) and his brother "Vitali" (Jared Leto`s Character) in LOW:
Motorcycle Boy (askes a few times): "Why?"
Rusty James: "Why, what?"
Motorcycle Boy: "Why are you so f...ed up all the time?"
Plus: In both movies, the older brother askes the younger brother "Why?"!

- Moonstruck: That movie plays around a full moon!
- The Croods: After they return to their cave from the food-hunt, Ugga says: "Bathnight! The moon is full!" (or something similar)
- The Ant Bully: In one scene, Zoc is standing in a big full moon, as he waits for Hova, and sighs!
- Drive Angry: Milton must save his granddaughter, before Jonah King has the chance to sacrifice her on the full moon (to bring hell on earth)! We also see the Full Moon in the rear view mirror of Miltons car a few times!
Those were the movies, I can remember, with that reference! Not sure, if they are the only ones, so if anyone knows of other NICe movies, with a "Full Moon"- reference, then, please feel free to post it here as well!

I don't know Lady R, but now I feel the need to watch Moonstruck again! Maybe Vampire's Kiss, it has been a while since I saw it so just a guess. Maybe Racing With The Moon?
Well, I watched Moonstruck last night, Lady T.! Sooo romantNIC! And, I was thinking of Vampire`s Kiss, too, but I`m not sure either, as I haven`t watched it in a pretty while! I think, a re-watching of those two movies should be a good idea, to be sure!^^
