I had asked for birthday tickets to see Roger Waters/The Wall for my bday last week.  Someone forgot.  :(

I've been in the mood for Rod Stewart lately.  Not sure why......

Since someone asked today about Reincarnation, I'll share this song that I've always loved and felt an affinity for. To me it speaks of the possiblility of "knowing" that you've shared a life or two or three with someone before....and knowing that you've found 'home'......

Cut and paste to hear....

Wow... Roger Waters is still doing The Wall live... it's kind of amazing! Hope you get another chance Bon it's a brilliant show!joy

I've probably mentioned this before but I saw The Wall live at Berlin when the Berlin wall came down. Once in a lifetime experience...with a deeply atmospheric groundswell of feeling amongst the thousands of people who were there, about what it symbolised. After the concert there were people running through the arena, (which was in the area of Hitler's bunker) and the streets... it was euphoric and there was this revolutionary pulse pounding through everyone and the city. I will never forget that feeling of actual physical oneness (as opposed to the spiritual oneness I feel) with such a large group of people. lotus

Roger Waters is on the cover of Rolling Stone this month.

White Fay, the lyrics are really wonderful in that Savage Garden song, I have never heard it before.

I never knew Jackie Chan sang, that first video is very catchy.

I love the Beatles!!!!, We saw Sir Paul last year when he came to Halifax!!! It was awesome!!!!

Great songs people are sharing here!

That.............would have been so incredibly amazing, Lula....to be there as the Berlin wall came down.   In ways.....it must have felt eerie............for there was so much bloodshed and hatred and control energy expended in that area.....

there was an obscure song posted somewhere(youtube) with chris Issac's big hit done dark by a band that i think is H.I.M.  name of the song, name of the song, hold on, "wicked game". it was set to a montage of nic clips i THINK was a lula and sailor thing. worth checking out.

Oh, snap, I was just thinking of that song today, and wondering what Nic movie it was in. Loved it way before I knew it was Nic related! Must have a look for it.

Today I heard this song and it made me think of what we've read about Nic's interest in Tesla (Sorceror's Apprentice).........Why did it make me think of the subect, you ask?   Cuz it's by a band named Tesla, that's why!  LOL!

Blocking up the scenery, breaking my mind
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign?"

I haven't heard that song for a while, still true, though. This band does a good cover.

Funny, I never heard of that guy Tesla till the movie, but he seems to have an almost cult following going on, besides the scientific interest, I mean.

Very touching song Kelsey.  Thankyou for sharing it.  I don't think I've ever heard it before but it certainly touches my soul.

Well, since White Fay is going to Tennessee, home of the Grand Ole Opry, here are some country tunes in her honour. I like a good country song once in awhile.

This is Lonestar, and I love this romantic song, the lyrics are beautiful.

And this is Blake Shelton, who is performing and being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry Hall of Fame on Saturday there. You may enjoy his dimples, I know I do.
