But, actually, it`s hard, to choose pure action movies of him, as he likes to mix genres! So, I think, those movies are, to me, the ones with the most action in them! If I could, I would also include Kick Ass, Bangkok Dangerous, Snake eyes, Captain Corelli`s Mandoline and Knowing in my list, if it would be a top 15 instead of a top 10!
Great find! Thanks Lula, for posting it!

Those are all great choices! Except, of course, I have yet to see Fire Birds. I actually never think of SA as an action movie, although I suppose it does have lots of it.
My tops are The Rock and Con-Air, I can't choose between them; followed closely by Face/Off then Drive Angry. Kick-Ass for sure, but after that I can't narrow it down. You are right, Lady R, it is hard to say because of Nic's multi-dimentional performances. Movies like Next and Bangkok Dangerous are so much more than action to me.
Well, maybe SA hasn`t as much action in it as e.g. BD, but, I think, it has enough in it, that you can call it an action-movie! And, NICe choices, Lady T.! And, Firebirds is a great one! You, really, have to see it soon! He is so great in there!^^

I wasn't aware that Nic had even been in 10 action films. A friend of mine asked me for some Nic Cage movie advice when it came to action, i only came up with 4 solidly action based movies. And one of my choices wasn't even on their list. I liked Windtalkers, it had a lot more meaning then most. I agree very much with Face/Off being number one, it's just the best action flick going.
