An ineresting tidbit here from an interview with Seeking Justice / Justice writer Roger Donaldson:

Seeking Justice is also coming out on DVD and Blu-ray this month. What was involved in all the title changes for that?

You tell me. I personally much prefer the original one. The Hungry Rabbit Jumps is my one. I wouldn’t have done the movie if it was called Seeking Justice. I love Hungry Rabbit Jumps. To me it was a much more enigmatic title but that’s just my opinion.

Well, to me, if it’s called Seeking Justice, it needs to have a scene where Nicolas Cage looks up at the sky and screams “Justiiiiice!”

[Laughs] Yeah, maybe.

As I recall, we all agreed that we preferred the original title for the film, out of the four titles that emerged during it's identity crisis. I agree with Donaldson it is more enigmatic... and unique.. bu tnot only that, it is the originall title that he wrote for the film. as writer it would hack me off no end that a title was so....far removed in every respect!

Indeed! And, actually, the original title would have made more sence, as it is explained at one point in the movie! Thanks for posting it, Lula! :)

I totally agree with mr. donaldson. at first everyone thought it would be the hungry rabbit jumps, and then we heard titles like cornerd or marked man and finally (seeking )justice. not very creative. thanks for posting lula

Thank you for posting Lula, it's a pity that neither screenwriters nor directors have full powers to choose titles for their movies.

The creative people involved in the movie making business seem to lose ground when it comes to the big money people, they seem to be the ones who make these rediculous decisions as to distribution and title changes, etc.  Always going for the safest bet. Must be very frustrating to work in the field sometimes.
