Here is a link to a fundraiser event today that Nic was apparently in attendance at and spoke at for the Nevada SPCA. I saw the pics on twitter and also saw a few tweets about him being there. Sadly, he spoke about losing his German Sheperd dog to stage 4 cancer recently.

Wonderful that Nic also supports animal charities as part of his humanitarian work. So sad to hear about the loss of his german shepherd..losing an animal and much loved pet is the same as losing a member of your family and is incredibly hard.

Oh, it makes me so happy that Nic also supports animals! Even, to be honest it makes me happier than the humanity support he does, but that is becouse I love animals so much. Anyway I'm glad with both work that he does and that he is kind enough to do it! It's sad to hear about his dog :( It is horrible indeed to loose a pet, and I think a dog/cat might be the worst of all. I know living things die just like people but if they could only live as long as people.

Oh no!!!  That's so sad!!!  I wonder if it's that beautiful blackand gold shepherd he owned.  That dog was simply beautiful.

Glad to see Nic out and about.  He looks amazing!

I love dogs as well as cats. I have a soft spot in my heart whenever I am seeing them adorably playing around; getting into me and playing with me happily. What I really like about dogs is their voices when they barks. I love that!!! \(^^,)/ Especially, if you're having a puppy and couldn't wait to hear him/her barking, it's so exciting and at the same, time so cute!!! =)) I remember we had 3 generations of puppies in the past. Our main dog who's a half-non breed and half-terrier. Her name is Beary. Two times got pregnant (2006 & 2009). Then, one of her daughter from the 1st generation, got pregnant and born 4 puppies namely: Billy, Bobby (+), Beauty and Bunny (+). I named them after Pinoy Dream Academy and Pinoy Big Brother hosts and casts. ^^ During the span of these growing family, I had 4 cats with two generations. 3 of which got away. =(( So sad!! =((

I've learned being a dog lover from my mother. But opposite to her, I am a cat lover since childhood years. hehehehe~ So we are always in an opposition when it comes to caring them all. ^^

Oh it indeed is so cute when you hear a dog bark for the first time! I agree, I've always loved cats and dogs, if I see one my heart just melts, well you see more free cats an the steet than dogs. I love my dogs, but I love cats very much as well! Alltrough this does bring up sad memories, they are like family :'(

HERE, YOU CAN SEE MORE OF DOGS THAN CATS. CATS HERE ARE USUALLY HIDING SOMEWHERE ELSE LIKE ROOFTOP. ^^ I REMEMBER ONE TIME, WE HAD A WHITE CAT. SHE'S INTO THE SUNLIGHT. T^T SHE WAS DIAGNOSED OF POISON. =| I WANT HER TO BE BACK CAUSE I REALLY REALLY MISSED HERE BUT IT WAS LONG, LONG AGO. =(( EVEN OUR MAIN DOG HERE USED TO HEATEN HERSELF UNDER THE SUN AT THE GARAGE AREA. ^^ THEN, SHE'LL PLAY LATER ON WITH ME. I'M GONNA MISS HER WHEN SHE DIES SOON. IN FACT, I'M NOT YET READY FOR HER DEATH. PROBABLY, 5 MORE YEARS TO GO, SHE'LL DIE. BUT I HOPE NOT YET!!! =| I'LL KILL MYSELF IF SHE DOES!!

His German Sheperd dog is beautiful, and I know it's not easy to forget a good friend, but remembering the great times you had with that beautiful being will make things better.

I once lost a good dog last, last year so I maybe in depress once again if Beary dies soon. =| But let's moved on! I know all animals are going to be sent in Heaven to be with God. ^^ He's safe there, a very very cool place where they can play and sleep well! =)) I hope to see some of my pets soon there! Just wait for me, guys!!! I heart you all!!! ^^
