Interesting review, Lady R, thanks for posting it. That last paragraph is a great way to end the article. Love it!

At the end of the day, for all of his ostensible weirdness, this is a guy who eats and breathes and can sign his name on contracts. As much as he may be something of a force of nature, it’s not like lives in a bottle waiting to be unleashed onto the set to wreck some classically Cage-y havoc. He may be “eccentric” (as someone calls his character in this film), but he’s not insane. He’s a performer—an interesting, exciting, frequently electric one, who infects even the oddest little movies with an unmistakable energy that makes them, more than anything else, fun to watch. And this is never more true than in Vampire’s Kiss, where he plays a guy driven off the brink by his own enthusiastic role-playing. This may well be the Rosetta Stone for decoding Cage’s entire career.

Indeed, Lady T.! I think, that is the best part of that article! And, indeed, what a great way, to end this article! :)
