I have no heard anything abut it lately, it was supposed to come out Nov 30th in North America, I believe. I can't see that happening now, there have been no ads at all.

I want to know what is going on with the movie as well. There was a leaked crude poorly made trailer back in August, that got yanked fairly quickly. It can still be found if you look for it.

Just to keep people interested I have some more pictures from my time around, it's mostly of the cars and things I was allowed to take pictures of, since taking photos of the things while filming is not allowed. I probably took more pictures than I should have, but I did actually ask before I took some just so I didn't get in trouble...(I want to be an extra in future films if they come up here it's a fun thing to do, I'm definitely not in it for the money....)

This is from the first day of shooting, The director and main camera man are there in front, the 1st assistant director is there in the cap. That is my car parked there, they were filming the Omega (brown car in the back) pulling into the bakery, with John Cusack at the wheel, the camera kind of pivots around my car so you may actually see it if they use that shot in the movie.

This is the apartment they used for Cindy Paulson, I was parked right in front of the door, but had to move since they needed more room for the cab to pull up in front, and the cars lined up in front were the wrong colors...this scene if they show the cab pulling away may contain a 90s Subaru in the shot, since it had a blown motor and couldn't be moved..... Hudgins runs out of the apartment and gets in a cab. They also filmed inside the apartment for hours after they did this scene.

This is background filming here, basically this is a transition shot. They show a car pull up, and the next shot will be inside the morgue or something like that, it may not even get used. I spent like 12 hours doing these shots following around the camera crew.

This shot is the Cage car (an LTD being driven by a transpo guy) pulling into the morgue (actually a funeral home) and parking, and a white car passes in front as he parks. My car is just in the parking lot.

This is another background shot in front of the house that is used as Cage's house in the movie. my job was to drive back and forth in front of the house over and over again for about 2 hours or so. I'd make a few passes and then wait for it to get darker, then do it again. This house is 2 streets over my house.

I'm in the same spot, it's just a few hours later...

This was another day they started shooting at about 5:00pm and we went home at 6:00 am...it was a long and very cold night. Here again is my car with my Movie plates with it's 1983 year tabs. I managed to talk the prop masters out of that plate at the end of filming....
in this shot Cage starts out to the right of my car and walks down the street showing a photo to the crowd of patrons milling about.

You can see the crowd hanging out down the street trying to see some movie stars.

This is a one way street in real life so they had the other end blocked off by the police. about an hour after this shot a very intoxicated person in a stolen box truck decided to run right through the set the wrong way up a one way road. he very nearly took out 4-5 classic cars (including mine) and the director, assistant director, the main camera man, and some extras and crew. He came so close to the directors tent which was set up right in the middle of the street he hit a case of bottled water set on top of a trash can just at the edge of the tent. he swerved to miss a suburban parked in the middle as a blocker (so the tent is hidden behind it) and managed not to hit all the cars on the curb, all of us managed to get out of the way and no harm was done, He then ran into the roadblock on the other side of the set into the arms of the waiting police officers.

This was on a night I wasn't an extra, I just wandered over since I was invited and it was two blocks from the house.
This is me this time with Mr. Cage, who was very cold and was posing for pictures at about midnight. It's blurry, I wasn't prepared to take pictures and IPhones suck in the dark.

This is outside a club called PJs (Papa Joe's) it went out of business when Joe got pinched for drug trafficking and now lives in prison...They are tearing it down next year and building a community center. This is a place that Hanson went to in real life.

They drug that phone out of a warehouse and set it on the ground, it is non functional....Cindy Paulson makes a call from there later on in the night to cage. You could see my car in this scene too since they have me drive out of the lot and the camera is right next to my car pointed at the booth as I pull out.

This is in the bar and 50 cent and Brad Henke are having a fist fight out back, the director and production crew are watching it on the monitor, they use a 50 cent stunt double here for the head dunking scenes (for some reason there is a snow covered bbq grill full of water covered in snow just out the back door) and the throwing on the ground scenes. It took a few hours to do this due to stunt double, camera angles and then switching in the real guy for the close ups and so on....It was interesting to see how they do this. I ate a lot of junk food and had some terrible tea while they filmed this....

Yet another night, I'm following the pimp Clate car with Hudgins stunt double and a 50 cent look alike driving, doing more establishing shots.

one of the trooper prop cars, I think they borrowed that one from the museum, it looked real and the light bar isn't held on by suction cups like the APD cars they had painted up in the 80s colors.

This is the last night of shooting I'm hanging out in the strip club where they have all the crew setup. They were filming in the hotel strangely attached to the strip club....The feet on the table belong to Michael McGrady who played Cage's partner. He was an interesting guy to chat with, he hung out in the club rather than out in a trailer for about 3-4 hours that night. Brad Henke was in there for a while along with Dean Norris and a few other actors. Cage was pretty much the only one that stayed out in his RV. Vanessa Hudgins is in the picture on the right with people huddled around her. They were getting her dressed in her warm clothes since they were about to go outside and shoot where it was a warm -16 F at about 2 am.....She was real nice she even said Hi to me at the junk food table which is to my right in the picture. Her mom and sister were there too. They even stopped shooting at midnight and brought out a birthday cake for her mom we all sang and everything.

Me and Michael McGrady, again an IPhone in the dark....not a good thing.

I got the plate that was on my car the one night of shooting, which they refer to it as a Hero plate since it has the correct year stickers and is used on cars that may be seen up close on camera. They only had two of these for background cars. and I got a copy of the daily shooting summary (I forget what the official movie name for it is) it has all the info about what scenes are being shot a general description of the scene and lines and who is in the scenes. The last night they didn't control these things like other nights so I was able to get one as a souvenir.

That pretty much sums up my movie experience as a frozen extra. It was a lot of fun, I did actually get to talk to famous people, and I hope some more big movies come up here so I can do this some more.

This is not Cage related but I'm going to add it anyway....

I also got to spend 2 days on the set of Big Miracle. They cut the 2 scenes my car would have been in, but on the blue ray there is a making of documentary where they talk about the wedding scene and you can see my car in that one....

I was an extra for one day in a Drew Barrymore scene as well and that scene did make it, and for 1.3 seconds the back of my head was on the big screen....
