In honour of the 200th birthday of the great Charles Dickens, here is a video about the making of Christmas Carol: The Movie (2001)

which is based upon the famous and oft adapted Charles Dickens story, first published in 1843, 'A Christmas Carol'

Nic played the voice of the ghost Marley, who visited the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge:

unfortunately Nic is not in the video, but it is interesting to see how the movie was made!

It looks like, if this is the making of from the dvd! Yes, unfortunatly, he isn`t! But, we know, he provides a voice in it! As I first watched the making of on the dvd, I was a little disapointed, that Nic wasn`t interviewed in there! But, by watching the movie, I enjoyed the his scenes very much! starsAnd, it is a wonderful story, perfectly transported by the filmmakers and the actors! starsThank you, for posting this wonderful vid, Lula!stars

That was interesting, I enjoyed hearing about Kate Winslet and the other performers' experiences doing the movie, I love her, she is such a great actor, and so lovely too. Gosh, I didn't know she sang so well!

Another movie with Nic and chains, interesting! When I was a teenager I had a necklace made of chain-links, and one of my teachers took to calling me Jake because he said it reminded him of Jacob Marley! Ah, something I have in common with Nic, we both have played Marley, lol!

She really does too! another reason it is sad the rumour of her being cast in FRANK OR FRANCIS, which Kaufman confirm will be an all out musical, has turned out to be a false one.

Great anectdote Lady T, your teacher sounds interesting! ghost

It also struck me while posting this yesterday that this is another supernatural movie for Nic, perhaps not one you would automomatically think to include..and the first time he played a Ghost! ghost
