Yes, Lady R this must be the afro-caribbean voodoo-spirit called Baron Samedi that Nic mentioned in his reply to you on the webchat, he looks awesome .... must have been freaky in a cool way to be around him on the set at the time!

Lol for some reason seeing Nic painted up like that makes me want to see him on the stage all the more!

I think so too Meg, that is Nic's pre CGI look ( I can just make out The LEDs all over the mask and jacket?)  the mask was his voodoo / channeling mask as he said in the webchat interview!!! I would love to know what N and D were thinking at that point, what director wouldn't be loving it?! lol!!! Nic does look scary...fascinating to see! blinkingskull
