I thought the NIC impression by the FANGORIA editor in the video was excellent too, lady Roxy! and his enthusism towards Nic, along with the tidbits he revealed, very cool!
Gina..wow yes, what a powerful piece of art ! I am sure it will look as epic on the mag cover ..but in it's life size glory would be something to behold! probably be awesome and scary ..the kind where eyes follow you 'round the room....
I RECEIVED NOTIFICATION TODAY MY FANGORIA COPY HAS BEEN DISPATCHED!!!! *excitement"
Oh my.....the FANGORIA covers are amazing! and the interview with Nic is mind blowing!!
Dear Lord Lula!!! Give up the goods already!!!
Lol...I may give an overview once the second part of the interview arrives in copy #311, but I dont want to rip off Fangoria, this is ther interview and I seriously recommend Nic fans getting the magazines, the covers alone are collectable, epsecially the Basil Gogos art ! (and I am not on commission, honest! )

I don't get it?! We've posted other mags and covers here before. Why not theirs? Is it because it's a fairly new cover and interview??
the covers Gina? they are already posted at the beginning of and throughout the thread?! I thought you were asking about the interview.
Talking of the interview, the second part of this epic one with Nic is out in FANGORIA #311. Nic is not on the cover this time though, but instead a rather cool black and white Vincent Price shot, because this issue haa a Roger Corman interview too. For anyone interested, once again editor Chris Alexander editor in chief, does a preview mentioning the Nic interview:

I'm so sorry Lula, Yes, I was referring to the interview.
It is on order Lady T, I think it is in the uk the beginning of March !
It the second part of the interview is more out there than the first as Chris Alexander says, we're in for a treat. Exciting that speaking with Fangoria seems to give sir Nicolas more of a sense of freedom to talk about his passions.
I will be keeping my eye out for it then! I found a very nice newstand near the hospital that sells all kinds of international magazines and newspapers, and had a lot of fun browsing there when I found the Fangoria issue with Nic! Yeah, that made my day!
these magazines are worth gettiing just for their sublime covers! i love this one too, the old skool horror feel, that pic of Nic in Vampire's Kiss is a fave an works well in black and white!
I got it today! Do you have yours yet, Lula? It is awesome, even better than the first part, I think! With a comment from Nic on a possible upcoming movie!!! And there is an interview with Roger Corman, so interesting, with more details on that movie they wanted to do; and a little interview with Jane Asher which gave me a bit of a thrill. It is a really good issue. Worth buying, people, if you can get a copy.

Not yet Meg, the online outlet said it wasn't arriving to them until March, so any day now.. happy you have your copy! I am even more hyped for it after reading your comment.
"The nail that stands out gets hammered down, But it hasn't been hard, necessarily, it just has to be, it just is."
You know, the more i read the comment 'how can anyone not know' The Wicker Man 'was meant to be absurd' I feel foolish, I watched it as a straight up horror film and didnt really get that absurd thing at all , as I have said before somewhere i think, i found the whole bee and torture scene pretty intense.
That is great, Lula! I just scanned the first article, and when I figure out how to post it here I will, lol!
I never thought Wicker Man was meant to be absurd, either, Lula, I thought maybe I was just not getting something. I remember laughing a lot in a rather stunned way while watching it because it was all so odd and surreal. That type movie is not a favourite of mine and I thought it rather misogynist, so it would never be in my top list of Nic movies, but I enjoyed it all the way through. I thought Nic was great in it, and it is totally entertaining.
Glad i am not alone then Lady T! But i didnt laugh at all, i think i am a little over sensitive to movies, I would rather be that way the completely desensitized !
Shall we point people towards your scan thread for the interviews?
