Fangoria will be publishing a two part interview with Nicolas Cage and issue #310 will feature these 2 epic covers, the back cover by artist Basil Gogos, apparently commissioned by Nic himself!

Oh, that is great news, Lula! I love the covers, and the back one is especially cool, considering Nic commissioned it and is sharing it with his fans! I love that!  Here are some of Basil Gogos' portraits, and some info about him. Nic must be a fan of his art, and no wonder, it is really awesome! I can't wait to read that interview, I wonder if that magazine is available around here? Must check it out. It is going to be an awesomely NICalicious read!

You are right eva, there is something Hulk-like about the back cover! fitting really when you think that both Ghost Rider and the Hulk are men transformed to 'monsters' who 'do good'! flaming

And yeha that's right Lula, didn't thought of that yet( Altrough I don't like the hulk so much, I watched it when I was maybe 10 and thought the story of the dad and the mum was horrible!

Just been checking for previous Nic covers in Fangoria Magazine, apparently issue #301 featured a DRIVE ANGRY Preview, only a tiny pic on cover though!

 I absolutely love Nic's answer that in every movie of any genre there's horror in there and it's something that may be not so obvious,but something going on within.     I have to admit this is  something I've never thought about,but how true it is!Brilliant!

That must be a really cool magazine,and an epic issue!Love most of the things the guy says about Nic.

Yes, I agree with you Voodoo child, that stood out for me too! and i can think of Nic films that definitely contain that energy ..most recently, Season Of The Witch, Drive Angry, even Trepass actually...then I am thinking of Vampire's Kiss which although was a comedy it was very dark..the other day I was saying that it is never easy to lump together any of Nics' films into one genre..like Supernatural for example, and thinking of all his supernatural films, each has several other tones going on as well simultaneously which makes them all different..and that for me is Nics' strength as an actor.

I loved :

"Cage reminds me of the modern Vincent Price" :yeahhhh!!

and talking of Hammer films....I am so hoping the rumoured The Quiet Ones comes to fruition...maybe that would be more satisfyng tot those who want a horror category for Nic Cage, and hammer films are having a bit of a rebirth I feel..be great if Nic were part of that great british horror tradition!!

That was cool, I laughed at him imitating Nic, and love that he is such a fan! It was pretty awesome of Nic to allow the magazine to use that artwork for their back cover too, never seen before by the public, how great is that!

It is actually very nice to hear the impressions of the interviewers, don't always get that.

Pretty cool!  How cool would it be to view that painting of Nic/Johnny Blaze in all of its glory.  I would love to see that painting - it's amazing!
