I think I read that Nic had some creative differences with the Coen Bros in this movie, I wonder how he wanted to approach the role that they objected to. It is always interesting to read Nic's thoughts on his approach to a role.

Well the Coens are definitely auteurs... I often wonder if the reason Nic goes for genre flicks with less recognisable directors these days is because it allows him more creative control (and more fun!)
