Four months, that is not too long to wait. Wonder if this means they will start releasing teasers and such soon. Now that will be a good way to get though some dreary winter nights, in pleasant anticipation!

Indeed, You would think a 'Christmas season' winter treat to stoke the fires would be in order! Much before then and they may be a little premature? don't wanna peak to soon! I'm still enjoying the tiny teaser we already have! Maybe there will be more artwork? and if Mr Taylor continues to give us the occasional EPIC glimpses as he did withthat interview the other day, i'll be  happy woman!!flaming

I know it is a different film, but when I watched the behind the scenes footage and extras on the Ghost Rider 2-Disc Extended Cut DVD it made me realise just much work goes into the movie after the actual filming part is over. the film doesn't actually exist at that point! I would really recommend the aforementioned DVD by the way. the extras are awesome. and as you know, I am that (apparently) rare beast who loved the first movie!flaming

Must be very strange sometimes for the people who take part in the production of a movie to see the finished product. I suppose the director always holds a vision of what the finished movie will be like.

I don't think you are rare, Lula, GR was and is a very popular movie. I did not love it like you, I am just not into comic book adaptations that much (except for the original Superman, love that movie), but I enjoy it and especially the effects, Nic turning into the rider, and the bike, all that stuff is cool. Also I enjoy the humour in it and the neat stuff Nic adds, like the jellybeans, that make it so unique and unlike others of the ilk.

Yeah and imagine how it is for the actors!! I guess the foundation is the original writer and there has to be alot of letting go of their baby by the time it reaches completion! I am astounded especially in this kind of movie, how the director holds the vision all the way through to the end, I guess that must be different for each director, I get the feeling Neveldine and Taylor are pretty fluid in their creativity, I think they mentioned when they first got to Romania they didnt have a rigid plan, and it feels like spontaneity may enter into the actual shooting process alot, so that may carry all the way through into post prod as well....which is a very exciting thing!

Lol! you know what I mean, if you were to delve into the blogosphere the first film does not fashionably receive a favourable response, but i was being sarcastic because it smashed the box office and I know gazillions of people personally who LOVE the movie!! I love the product i love the experience of watching it i love the interpretation and i also love the dedication that went into making it, and films such as it,  i really do... as time goes on i come to appreciate that more and more and feel a kind defensive respect for all involved! starry
