GR2 has just this minute completed it's showcase with Nic, co-stars and Neveldine and Taylor at teh COmic Con panel! Some live 3D footage was shown which seems to have kicked up a storm!
A 3D trailer for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance was just showcased, featuring lots of action sequences. One scene has Ghost Rider battling Johnny Blaze as seperate entities. Another has him vomiting fire in a man's face. Another actually has him urinating fire. There's some kind of military vehicle that seems to have been taken over as a new Ghost Rider vehicle, moving with the same flames. (End Trailer)
Will Sony Pictures be letting us see a trailer sometime soon I wonder?
would be very kind of them. And by the time they are releasing it they can also release all other trailers we are waiting for ....for i dont know like a year or something

I do agree about the other trailers too Floderstarke, and in terns of timescales, the others would seem more pressing. but I guess because we have seen zero pics let alone footage of the new Ghost Rider..and because I am particularly excited bout this film, my enthusiasm is peaking for this right now!
I have been thinking about this today, it is right that we are not just shown this footage at the same time as Comic Con, it is only fair to the people who attended that they have a special experience. We know the time will come, don't we, that glorious moment, that first time when we become intimate with the new Ghost Rider....so maybe we shouldnt wish for it too soon, as a first time can never be repeated!
They are still in post production so the footage they showed was geared for SDCC. I don't mind, it will be well worth the wait, this film is going to be the suprise hit of this decade. =)

So very true spiritofvengeance, thanks for that wisdom! Also the filmmakers have every right to hold back on their creation...and I trust them with this one.. will happily wait because as you say this film is going to be breathtakingly MEGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you don't mind my curiosity, would love to know more about your timely arrival here, you are clearly a huge fan of Ghost Rider and were you at Comic-Con? i would love the chat with someone who was!
Ghost Rider: SOV will debut its trailer next week sometime. A day is not set but I am sure more info will be available this weekend. Go to www.imdb.com for more info. Sorry I don't post links but I am still learning how with my laptop so bare with me. CLC
I am looking forward to the flames..been smouldering for so long.....feeling highly flammable right now!!!!!
I have a feeling it is going to shock this trailer, in a totally good way. Do you all remember the first time we saw The Bad Lieutenant trailer? it was so new...and exciting and a bit shocking... seeing Nic in a role like that was such a bzz...well i reckon the first glimpses of Ghost Rider are going to be powerful like that but multiplied by about..... infinty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it's soooo important to NOT rush the GR2 trailer. It's imperative that they get this thing right.
I'm not sure if anyone would agree here but, critics keep gesticulating that Nic is putting out stinker after stinker. I'm so disappointed because really, all "critic" means to me is someone's PERSONAL published opinion, nothing more.
But in the words of the great (well maybe not so great) rapper, LL Cool J: "Don't call it a comeback!" Because it's really not but I think if GR2 hits it out of the park with audiences, this could mean well overdue propers for our man Nic!
I couldn't agree more Gina, we talk about this in other parts of the forum often enough! it is one of my pet gripes when critics state 'absolute truths' about Nic films when it is their own opnion, but worse than that, and then the world machinery kicks in perpetuating it, often unthinkingly...often people have made their minds up before or are too busy jumping on the bash Nic band wagon to actually have an objective opinion.
LOL.... the timing of the trailer, hmmm...you would say that having been at comic con and already seen some of the footage!!! lol!! They are still in post production so it is only a teaser they are showing next week.... possibly only the same footage? Maybe with real trailers coming nearer the time of the release February next year?
They won't have any trouble sustaining my enthusiasm though it has been on max since this film was even rumoured but i guess they need to pace themselves so they don't peak too early.
"Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the directors of the film, quickly showed they were out to prove a point. In addition to showing off a trailer that was much better than expected, they treated the Hall H crowd to behind the scenes video. Here, we see that instead of a director telling a camera man where to point the camera, they chose to operate the cameras themselves. Not only that, but they wanted to make sure every shot captured the action. In one stunt, a stuntman attached to a wire went flying off of a ledge. The director, holding the 90 pound 3D camera, flew off the ledge as well. In another scene, the director was wearing roller-blades and holding onto the back of a motorcycle while filming. These in-your-face shots were clearly the difference in the amazing trailer. Apparently, Neveldine and Taylor truly meant it when they stated they would not have the actors or stuntmen do anything that they were not willing to do."
Nothing wrong with a little tease Lady T, something to get that plateau of sustained excitement a little higher. it's a hard balancing act, but I have a feeling N and D can do it. no idea why i am using sexual innuendo in this topic. freud would probably have something to say about that.
