I've been collecting a lot of Disney/Jim Shore stuff lately, and my dad just baught a John Wayne doll awhile back, and I got to wondering why I haven't seen any Nic collectables, because I would love to have a few Nic collectables to show off in my china cabinet! If anybody knows were I can get some Nic collectables, I would be truly grateful.

Hi Quazie! catwave

Even though I have been a Nic fan for over 20 years, i only have his films and a few posters, and nothing in terms of memoribiilia! I don't know why, it just has never interested me, not much a  material possessssion person i guess!

But i believe there is a ton of collectable Nic stuff out there, from action figures to mugs! or do you mean things like autographs? or props? quite often on e-bay, maybe you could have a search there!!

One thing that came up in auction recently was Nic's wooden hand from Moonstruck...that is one piece i would love to have !

I hope our other members can be more help than me on this, maybe we can begin adding to this thread with any Nic collectibles we come across?!!! starry

I love to have a Nick Cage mug as I have other artists in mugs with their pictures on them. I had to used a photo and take it some where to do it. I had a friend of my did an Jeff Goldblum mug for me when I was into Jeff. Now it is all Nick for me. I do still like Jeff but he has not done any thing new in a long time I wonder if he's even working in films anymore. So out with Jeff and IN with NICK! I had an Bee Gee mug too as I'm an hugh fan of theirs and been lucky to have met each brother except for Andy over the years. I have great pictures of Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb with me and alone. They are very nice with fans and gives out autographs too. I'm an collect person too. I like to have a baseball cap with Nick's name on it too. Nice.

Yes, I think a Nic mug and baseball cap would be nice, I would like that too. But I am not much into collectables in general. A mug and hat though, are usable, I like that!

I do like dragonflies and if I see something that attracts me with one I get it.

Jeff Goldblum is a favourite of mine, Nancy, he had a tv show a few years ago but it did not take, I loved it! Did you ever see it? It was called Raines and he played a detective who imagined the victims to be his partners in solving the crimes. It wa different, and he was great in it.

Hi Lady Trueheart,
Yes, I seen the TV show Raines and like Jeff in that role too. Remember a long time ago in the 1980's he was in another TV show called Tenspeed and Brownshoes? Boy, he was so young in the role as Tenspeed. I have them all on videos I taped and had a friend of mine to get my Tenspeed and Brownshoes some eposides. In fact, I have almost everything Jeff did in movies on videos. I never got his on DVD yet.

As to Nick stuff. I checked on ebay and they do have very good things on him. I like some of those 8x10 photos of him. Oh, how about that toy head thing too! wish it was his full body too with that like a doll. Was there ever been a doll made of Nick yet? They did some of Jeff and I have those. Mainly when he was in Jurastic Park movies as Ian.

Hi Lula,
Thanks, for showing me all those action figure dolls. Oh I love the Johnny Blaze ones and the sulk ones too. Nice of Charlie and Donald too. I like the one from the World Trade Center too. Where did you find the Johnny Blaze ones? How much do they cost? I bet they are expensive! As to the Jeff Goldblum ones they cost was cheap enough to buy as they were of Ian action Figure dolls. I have all three of them they put out. I forgot where I got those but it was in stores I found them at.

Hello Nancy! catwave you are very weleome, and thank you... i had fun looking and you have put me on a bit of a mission to find all Nic action figures now! I am sure there are more!

I agree, Charlie adn Donald really are special but I am thinking of getting me a mini Johnny Blaze ! I am sorry i didnt provide the links for the Ghost Rider ones, my bad. I just did a google search though and they came up pretty easily! Ebay seems to have a comprehensive collection.

Here's a question for everyone........If you could have your pick of Nic character as an action figure...which one would it be?!!!chickendance

Hi Lula,
Thanks, for that info. Oh another good question. My favorite of Nick as an action figure from one of his movies will be Nick in Con Air. As he really look HOT, HOT in that film with all those muscles he had. His long hair looked good in a white tee shirt, before he got messed up by the time the film end.
Even then he looked good and you sort of felt sorry for him with all he had to do before he got back with his wife and child. Another one is Seth he could be my guarding angel any time.

Has anyone ever seen this before..a Castor Troy action figure, complete with the golden guns.. how cool is that? I could change my mind about action figures for this bad boy....

I guess you could call him Castor TOY..*rolleyes* chortle

That video is cool, and pairs well with the metal music too. It is odd that it says GR:SOV, but maybe they are anticipating?

To answer your question about which action fgure I would like to see of Nic's characters I am going to go with my idea of Balthazar and a little shop with  movable objects. I still like playing with doll houses, but action figures, per say, don't tempt me much. But a usable Arcana Cabana, that be sweet!

Maybe one of Dave and Tank too!

SorcerersApprentice3.jpg

And!!!..OH MY!! How cool is this, I just found it while googling, never saw it before!! Anyone have this children's book? I want it.

Now that would be extremely cool Lady T! stars kind of like a wizards domain, wizardstars filled with magical objects.....

and we'd also need a practice arena.. some mini Tesla coils ..and perhaps some base elements to perform some alchemy with ..I'd love to be able to recreate the Merlin Circle! starry and by the way Disney, these ideas are (c) copright Cagealot Castle if you go ahead with it ! starsmile

Check this out..just found these action figures/ toys for Nic's upcoming animation film The Croods
