That was really transcendent, how truly exquisite. I will be listening to this often. Thank you, Lula, for posting this, it is so lovely. For some reason I am thinking of and visualizing the ocean as I listen.

So beautiful, ethereal. Truly transports one to an alternate experience of reality.

Today as I listened, images of an old atmospheric silent film full of mystery and romance played on my mind's screen. Some images from Nosferatu...

When will Nic create a film paying homage to the old Vincent Price type movies? Would love to see him in something mystical and intriguing with lots of atmosphere. Maybe Tim Burton could assist, and of course friend Johnny Depp and that interesting actress who was in that Barber movie with him, and maybe Natalie Portman (who Nic has such a crush on...).

Amazing the different images we all see! I cannot say that i was getting a Nosferatu vibe at all Lady Grace, but I can definitely see where you are coming from with the silent movie idea! reel

I too would love to see Nic in a movie that is en homage to Vincent Price ! If i may direct you towards a topic I began a while back Lady Grace, perhaps you will become as excited as I was when i first heard the words contained! starry

( It was Helena Bonham Carter who played alongside Monsieur Depp in Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street and you have totally lost me on the Natalie Portman comment! )

Does Nic have a crush on Natalie? Don't blame him, I do myself! She is a wonderful actress, have thought so since I saw her in The Professional years ago. Seems to be a person of principal and thoughtfullness too, which is nice to see.

Interesting where music takes us, isn't it? Sometimes I think it is the purest form of art, because even those who don't perform or create it, have music within them in their heart and minds, if they can only hear it.

I clearly need to pay more attention to Natalie Portman if the world is swooning at her feet! Lol! wink.gif

I think music certainly is the most potent form of art for me Lady Trueheart, because it seems to arise so purely through that infinite space and transcends rationality language structure... It is like an intravenous infusion of energy to which your whole being surrenders. I have to be careful around music because it can affect me so deeply for long periods of time..but that is also why it is very special. Playing the piano often leaves me with tears running down my face! That's how my "you're too sensitive" label began when I was a child, that took years to throw off and I now see that sensitivity as a gift heart.gif

I need to seek out more from this violinist

Clarification on Natalie Portman: Was reading Nic's twitter feed from when he was at the Oscars years ago, and he said that he was quite in awe of Natalie's beauty. It's probably not an ongoing crush... a slight exaggeration, mea culpa...wink.gif

Lady Lula, SO enjoy your musings on everything!  We are truly blessed to have you at court!  flowerface2

You have the true artists' sensibilities, I think, Lula. Your heart is open to things most people don't even notice. I am glad you see it as a gift, I think it would be very difficult if not. The temptation, I would think, for some people might be to close themselves off so as to feel safer and not experience the pain that comes with that sensitive nature.

Odd how children so often get labelled by adults, you were considered too sensitive, how can that be a bad thing. Rather adults should be striving to help their children nurture their unique qualities.

Hi Lady Trueheart, I have never considered myself as a true artist, so that is an interesting reflection.... thank you. Sensitivity though is a double edged sword...but i also believe struggle and pain are the biggest gifts of all..if you let them be.. I am not being obtuse when i say this but ... everyone is supremely sensitive in so many ways..it is just that people are busy distracting and not being who they trluy are (and I dont mean personality wise, i mean deeper than personality..) indeed i experience the 'soul' as very akin to the state of childlike wonder, openness, freedom, creativity...and that this is who we ALL truly are. I was lucky/ unlucky to be awakened at an early age (although my life experiences soon pretty much numbed that out until early adulthood). so i feel that these gifts whether they be artistic or perhaps spiritual are to some degree the nature of all. thank you for helping me remember how intimate the soul and creativity are. starry
