It seems like our members are very interested in film in general, so I tthought I would begin this topic where we share the movies we are looking forward to being made and seeing!
At the moment I am keenly following progress of the filming of THE HOBBIT in New Zealand...
(what!! am a faery who Iives in a castle I am bound to like this kind of thing!)
....an epic two films, based on an epic story, a prequel to the epic Lord Of The Rings trilogy, will take an epic two years to make and is being shot at an epic 48 frames per second and will also be in 3D!
( not to mention it has my second favourite vampire playing a dwarf. )
Peter Jackson being recently released this start of production video!
Thanks, Lula, I am very excited about this movie also, I am a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings movies, and have enjoyed the books by Tolkien for many years. The Hobbit was the first by him I ever read, when I was eleven, and it was so wonderful, I have reread it too many times to imagine, lol! I am interested in how it all plays out. Especially now that I have read that some of the actors are returning for their characters in this movie. Gandalf!
Oh yes, it is going to be stupendous! I love the way the movies have grown with the children, and this looks epic! it will be terribly sad and thrilling and tremendously stirring, I feel sure.
and by the way, the marvel studios will next year realese a movie with iron man, hulk, spider man and captain amercia. the dc studios plan the same with batman and superman.
wouldnt it be awesome if ghost rider would be involved??

This year, I'm really looking forward to seeing Robert Downey Jr., reprise his role in: Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, hitting theaters on December 16, 2011!
I love a rebel and Robert Downey Jr. is indeed, that!
I foudn what i rambled about the new Sherlock Holmes movies:
The first Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law was a bit of a shock to my system in that I had an expectation of Holmes, the action element was quite a surprise! but in the end I loved RDJ's interpretation of it and by god you have to admire that man's impeccable english accent, it is way better than mine! and am really looking forward to the second film 'Book Of Shadows'.
Just seen the trailer for Dark Knight Rises and it looks really goodalso looking forward to seeing Men In Black III, The Avengers, Rush Hour VI and the new James Bond movie, I will add The Hobbit part one to my list too
I was interested in Fist Blood / Rambo V, BUT it won't happen maybe?
