It is exquisite, isn't it? Thank you for this, Lula, I really needed to hear that right now, although I didn't know it till I did. I always have difficulty finding words for music or art that is so moving. And my knowledge of the classic composers is sketchy at best. But I have, I think, all of Beethoven's works on cassette, sadly all packed away in storage, and I really need to update my CD collection. Therefore, isn't Youtube wonderful!

My grandmother used to  play The Moonlight Sonata for me when I was a child. It remains my favourite piece of music, and one of my most cherished childhood memories. Whenever I hear it I immediately close my eyes and see her very clearly at the piano, she wasn't a very accomplished player, so had to really concentrate and made mistakes, but I thought it was the most beautiful music I ever heard.

Yes, indeed he was, Lula, and a most attractive turret in the castle it is! Wonder if there are other yet undiscovered people here within the castle walls?

It is a magical place, after all!
