Aw, man, that stinks! I hope the same thing doesn't happen to Drive Angry. I'm really looking forward to seeing that one, too, since it never came to my local theater.

most of films are released at the same time around the world,but i felt disappointed when I visited AmazonCN,it suggested that the release date was under water,sigh...
i’m going to hunt for blu-ray dvd on taobao,i like these

I thought it was really wonderful how both Season Of The Witch and Drive Angry opened in the uk at the same time as the states actually! usually the uk is lagging behind, and the same with the dvds!

maybe the Season of The Wirch DVD release has been delayed so it is not so close together with Drive Angry?!! who knows...but the wait will be sooooooo worth it!! starryknightcastle

Ummm, the cover is really gorgeous. I really don't get the point of changing the release date, it can't make that much difference to sales, can it? After all, isn't it available on Netflik and other sites now?

That's what I was thinking Lula Argante, but I still wish it was coming out during the same month in which Drive Angry was being released, because that would've been just awesome. The cover art for Season of the Witch does look great, though, and it's got me looking forward to seeing it even more.

It looks like those of us who were comtemplating future fan fics for Season of The Witch here will have more possibilities for our creative avenues to explore, because the film will be getting an alternate ending! knight

High Def Digest report the following extras will be available on the SOTW Blu-Ray:

  • Deleted Scenes
  • Becoming the Demon
  • On a Crusade
  • Alternate Ending
  • Feature Commentary
  • Theatrical Trailer

I'll definitely be buying that in blu ray! It will be very interesting to see the alternate ending.  I hope there will be comments from the director on the choice for ending too.

And this movie, apparently, continues to do very well up to now, which makes me mad when I read comments that it was a flop.
