This is an ultra romantic movie, with Romeo and Juliet overtones and was there ever a more romantic story?


Valley girl gets 8 flames for hotness from me...there is a scene in this movie that is very steamy!


BIRDY


I don't recall there being hardly any romance in this movie, though in a way the story between the two male characters is romantic in a friendship


Mind where you get that sand!


THE BOT IN BLUE


There is definite romance in this movie, again with some Romeo and Juliet overtones!


 there are some jiggy moments, but every single one of those flames is for Nic's oiled and hot bod !


PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED


the story revolves around the relationship of the two main characters and is romantic, but the Kathleen Turner chemistry doesn't work so well for me


perhaps a flicker of heat but not enough with Nic!


RAISING ARIZONA


the way H.I and Edwina get together is so romantic in the quirky Raising Arizona way

 there is so much heat in that kitchen....


VAMPIRE'S KISS


you may be surprised this movie here at all, but the story is driven by Peter Loew's relationship with 3 women...none of which are particularly romantic!  

 
but there is some passion of the neck biting variety!


FIRE BIRDS


the story has it's romance, for me it doesn't fully convince


A very hot scene, but as above, it doesn't fully overwhelm somehow


WILD AT HEART

HA!! Take one guess how this scores!


Many Nic characters go through trials and tribulations when it comes to their love. But for me, the love between Sailor and Lula is ultimately the most powerfully transcendent consdering the context they find themselves in


perhaps a flame for every time a match is lit, or the flames of their passion fill the screen 


ZANDALEE


there are elements of romance in this movie....


...but let's face it, this movie is all about the erotic, the power of sex and it's darker side too. It probably has more sex scenes than any other Nic movie? 


HONEYMOON IN VEGAS


The man jumped out a plane for his love for heaven's sake!!

 
not hugely passionate in the sexy sense, though Nic's character, Jack, is a bubbling volcano of passion!


RED ROCK WEST

 
I wouldn't say Michael and Suzanne were overly romantic, but Michael is one hunk of a romantic and conflicted gentleman


 and there is a passionate scene in a motel room..you know the one...


IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU


a beautifully romantic story


with a very faint glimmer of passion


TRAPPED IN PARADISE


is a romance that came out of nowhere in his movie, strong enough to work it's spell on one man and bring him to his senses... but zero passion

LEAVING LAS VEGAS


I may have to revise my statement about Wild At Heart..what could be more romantic than the unconditional love between Sera and Ben?


There is definite passion in this movie, but because it is contextualised in such painful and tragic unfolding lives, it is so much more.. and impossiible to experience as erotic

there is perhaps not enough of the relationship to judge it's romance level

the whole foundation of this movie is built on Cameron's fate being sealed by his actions in defending his love...and who could ever forget that beautiful final scene...

there is a modicum of romance in this movie perhaps, when Nic plays Sean Archer with castor Troy's face and tries to convince Eve of his identity

you may be surprised by this entry, but one of the things that I love about this movie is the glimmer at the end

Too funny and surreal for me to be romantic, but HI has a most romantic soul.



Just because he has those awesome pecs. And he's Nic, so he's hot, although clothed.

Perfect romance, in my opinion.



When he throws over the table and carries her to the bedroom; and then just his animal magnetism, But not enough Nic nudity.

I think I would only give it a 4 for hotness in the neck biting bits, plus, he left his underwear on.

An almost perfect romance, but I wanted them to stay in suburbia together with the kids

The concept is romantic, but those two together failed to move me, Nic played lovestruck well though

So....looking at our combined scores, it looks like City Of Angels is tops so far for the most romantic and Wild At Heart for passionand hotness!!

But that may be because you didn't score Zandalee Meg...between the two, I wonder which would come higher on the hotometer!!

It was so gut-wrenchingly sad but probably a true romance. Could I ever love this selflessly?
