We have heard how much Nic admires Christopher Lee in many of his latest Season Of The Witch interviews, and how he wants to move more in the direction of the kind of films Christopher Lee and Vincent Price have made. In this interview from 2009, shortly after Lee finished filming in Hungary for SOTW, the tables are turned...... and although the part about Nic is very brief, it's quite astounding in it's praise of him. That was wonderful praise, wasn't it? And just about everyone Nic works with praises him! I wish that interview was longer, it was fascinating, he sounds like a lovely man; and I wish that guy didn't interrupt so much. I really dislike that about most interviewers. They are always thinking about their own impression. It really should focus on the person interviewed, shouldn't it? __________________

I felt that Alan T was rushing him a bit Lady True, but perhaps because he wanted to maximize Sir Christopher's voulme of info and not dwell too long on a subject ? I couldn't say his motives seemed less than repectful and it felt a bit to me he was trying to focus things a bit, it would be unlikely on this prog they hadn't had an executive breakfast ( or the equivalent..a chat in Mr Lee's dressing room )beforehand to agree on a basic outline..so perhaps he was fulfilling his responsibilty, if a little too keenly!! But.... YES! And hurrumph! to completely ignore such a very genuine and honorable statement as this from Christopher Lee: "I've just got back from Hungary where I've worked briefly with one of the nicest men I've ever met and certainly one of the nicest actors, he was an absolute gem, Nicolas Cage. What a delightful man..." ..shame on you Alan T! I agree with you, it is always such warm and genuine praise, respect and admiration from Nics' co-stars!! __________________

Well, that is what I genuinely feel...but the bit where he point blank does not even ackowledege Christopher Lee's statement about Nic is somewhat rude I felt. but I am not going to judge his motives I learnt a while ago there are so many different angles ona situation. He is kind of a very mainstream presenter, something I don't gel with or have much knowledge of Lady true..but he does gardenung progs too I think..so that's his kind of chirpy chappy style! by the way...I was fascinated to hear him talk about the role of the villain...I idly wonder if his conversations with Nic had any bearing upon Nic's deliberations on whether to play the villain or not in Trespass? __________________
