Valley Girl ~ Soundtrack telling a story!

I really thought one of us had posted this but I cannot see it anywhere, sorry if this is a repeat!

This rather special youtube compilation plays two of the main tracks from the movie

The Eyes Of A Stranger, The Payolas

I Melt With You, Modern English

Set against a pretty awesome backdrop that pretty much tells the story of the whole movie! so it is heavily spoilerish, but beautiful! heart.gif

Enjoy!

The Valley Girl soundtrack is so much a character in the film! Like the clothes, colours, and language..the songs represent the eighties and the contrast between the suburban valley and urban Hollywood!

thought I would post this one ahead of our Valley Girl themed film club tonight!

This song is the first time Randy takes Julie (and us) into his world!

Oh! that is a shame Lady A! well, these little clips are just to lure people into watching the film (whether it be the first time or the millionth time) and I know you have it, so this is the scence where Randy and Fred are taking Julie and Stacey into their world, driving in the car, top down, and the song playing on the radio is I La La La Love You by the Pat Travers Band!

Hope this works for you!!

Stacey: "I hate this music" rolllaugh

Randy shoutng out to his friends on the sidewalk and doing those epic "whoop"s!!!  rolllaugh

Thank you, Lula, for tryinghug, but unfortunatly, that also doesn`t work, because, the GEMA hadn`t granted permission and publishing rights for this song here in Germany! cry But, as I have seen the movie a few times, I know, which song it is. smile
