Nicolas Cage Found “Trespass” Co-Star “Mysterious” And “Full Of Surprises”

In London a couple of weeks ago to promote his upcoming horror/adventure SEASON OF THE WITCH, actor NICOLAS CAGE took a few minutes to discuss another thriller he has in the works. Currently in post-production, TRESSPASS tells the story of a wealthy couple who return from a night on the town to find their home invaded and themselves in a hostage situation. As the story unfolds, the plot thickens when cross-connections between the family and the criminals raise considerable questions between husband and wife. Directed by JOEL SCHUMACHER, the film has CAGE sharing the screen with NICOLE KIDMAN, CAM GIGANDET, BEN MENDELSOHN, JORDANA SPIRO and LIANA LIBERATO. During the press conference for SEASON OF THE WITCH, CAGE talked about why he wanted to sign on for TRESPASS.

I don't feel the same enthusiasm from him when he talks about this movie as opposed to GR2 or Drive Angry. I guess he really is embracing his inner demon.

I do look forward to seeing Nic and Nic together. They'll probably make a lot of that when it comes out!

She is supose to be in the running for the next awards season for her role in Rabbit Hole.

Hi Lady True, nearer the time the movie is released, don't ya think we'll hear more from Nic on this role? flowerface it sounds like there is plenty to get his teeth into with this character too....Nic doesn't do one dimensional after all rainbowsmiley

I must admit I am really looking forward to seeing these two actors together, they are both pretty amazing. I wonder how Nicole was surprising...having read a couple of stories about how Nic likes to surprise his costars during takes to get a more authentic reaction from them I wonder if the roles were reversed?yellowflowergrin

That's interesting, Lula, I don't think I had read that about Nic before. I know he improvises though.

It will be very interesting to see, that's for sure.

I have read it Lady True....I think Nic himself has mentioned in interviews! But the one that comes to mind is with Rose Byrne in Knowing...spaceship apparently Nic brought something to the scene where their two characters first met that was unrehearsed with great effect!starry
