Delighted to find these....Werner Herzog recites some children stories and poems, here he voices his thoughts on Winnie The Pooh! flowerface

Teehee! Not sure they're the real Herzog though! I'm sorry to ruin the magic, Lula! The voice is a just a little too high - though I always pitch my Herzog impression a bit too low.

Still, Herzog is always a beguiling, eminently-reasonable sounding delight, even when saying the maddest things!

He's grown quite chirpy in recent years though... if I dare say it, I think he's mellowed in his old age!chickendance

OMG!! that'll teach me not to read the small print! Lol!! ohmygod.gif what a narna!!! On the Winnie the Pooh one I did think what is Werner Herzog putting on that funny voice for!! Haahahahah!!rolllaugh being naive so works for me sometimes, but times like this it clearly doesn't!
Enjoyed them anyway.
And you do a Werner Herzog impression? Would so love to hear that Sprocket! Thank you for disillusioning me wink.gif

Surreal to hear Herzog reading Pooh, even if only a joke.

I only dared upload 6 secs! But I think I got it down alright... I suspect my English accent gives the voice a slight inflection, in the way that the speaker's American accent in the clips affects his.

I tried to download it too Sprocket, but it made my computer flash an alert at me and shut itself down!! Yikes! I hope you don't mind that I'm going to edit your original link out, i'm afraid of it doing harm to anyone else's machine!

I cannot wait to hear you as Werner though.... Do you have a simple voice recorder? You can upload MP4 files direct to the forum, by using the attachment option when you post. The way I did it with my one I posted in 'The Hidden Stairway', was record on a simple voice recorder on my mobile phone, then bluetooth it to my netbook..and uploaded it directly! But if you have a more powerful mobile ( mine's prehistoricwink.gif ) you may be able to upload direct from your phone. I hope that helps!yellowflowergrin

I'm not quite sure how to toggle the upload function, but I've recorded Herzog explaining his film adaptation of the board game Buckaroo. ;D

Can one of you kindly mods tell me how to upload things from my computer, rather than link to an off-site url?

Hi Sprocket!flowerface
I'll do my best!

Ok, firstly you need to use the 'reply' option, or begin a new topic, rather than 'quick reply'

At the bottom you will see 'attach files', click on that and then browse for the file and upload it! There is a limit though (as i discovered the other day) to how big a file you can upload, I am not sure how big yours is? Another option would be to youtube it..that way the world gets to hear / see your genius too (is it a sound file or video?)sorry i don't know any other upload options...how about photobucket they do video upload?

Hope this helps ! *holds breath in eager anticipation* bouncy

Thanks Lula... the go-to gal for a guy in trouble! ;D

I think I have rather unwittingly created rather a lot of expectation, but I do think this'll make you guys chuckle, even if it isn't a masterpiece of sonic verisimilitude! The impression gets better as I ease into it, I reckon, but really I just like the idea of Herzog directed a version of Buckaroo, due to the persistent use of animals across his films! Oooh I'm nervous now... enjoy!

It's great, if you had not revealed it was you, I might have believed it was Herzog! Nothing he said would be unbelievable to me, actually, he is so strange.

Hmm, maybe you are Herzog?
