Well, it's been a few years since I saw it, and I did enjoy it. But not enough, I guess, for me to keep it in my mind, since I had forgotten about it till Kelsey mentioned it. Remember thinking it was very visually gorgeous.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslett, both outstanding! A really clever, captivating moving, story. Wow. *shortest review ever*

Haven't seen it, but I expect I would enjoy it with those two in it.
We went to see the latest Harry Potter tonight, and I really loved it. I have seen them all and it has been great to follow those kids through the years; in this movie I felt they really acted, and they were powerful. It was moving and dark and the scenery was glorious. The effects fantastic, a very scary snake indeed, but not enough Snape!
It sounds awesome Lady True! Just so you know, because we discussed it earlier in this thread, 'I Love You Phillip Morris' opened in the US 2 days ago..hopefully this means it is on it's way to you in Canada?

I am not really into romances either, unless they are the oldies.
I saw Prince of Persia, fun movie. Do you like Jake?
We watched Inception the other night, getting tired of all these CGI movies, I think. Actors were great though, Marion Cotillard and Leo DiCaprio, superb.
Not a film exactly, but I've been rewatching Lynch's 'Twin Peaks' and I'd forgotten how eepie-creepie it is! My word, it's a saucerful of darkness that one! Audrey and Agent Cooper are just the best though... almost good enough to get me writing fanfic! ;D
When The Wind Blows - an animated film from 1986, based on the graphic novel by Raymond Briggs. An elderly couple succumb slowly to radiation sickness after a bomb falls on Britain during the cold war. I wept.
Cheery boxing day fare then Sprocket?! do you need a hug? I did if I recall! Pink Floyd soundtrack I believe? Which is the reason I watched it, many years ago! For some reason I watched it right after Watership Down and my heart was pretty torn to shreds after it all!
I love Sex and The City tv series Kelsey and have that kind of fondness for the characters, but for the movie I felt it had become almost a pastiche...and where I had never previously found the same irritation others seemed to have with Carrie Bradshaw, in this movie I found myself feeling annoyed at her narcissism and how that somehow tainted the Wizard Of Oz theme (which is kind of a sacred film in my world so if you are going to use it do it with style!) But....I wanted something light and fun and got that ....and did love her shoes!!
