A Nic-character in a white bathrobe: In ICHTY, Charlie wears a white bathrobe the morning after he did spent the night together with Yvonne, at the Plaza! In Honeymoon in Vegas, Jack wears one, in their hotel suite at the Casino in Las Vegas the morning after, when he finds the invitation for the "fixed" poker-game! In Moonstruck, Ronny wears one in the scene, the morning after he slept with his brother`s fiancè, when he tells Loretta, that he loves her! Plus: ICHTY and Honeymoon in Vegas were directed by Andrew Bergman! "Jelly Beans": In the Ant Bully, Jelly Beans (which the ants refer to as "sweet rocks") appear a few times! "Bally`s" Hotel and Casino appearence: Leaving Las Vegas: Ben sits on a bank. with the Bally`s in the backround, while he drinks a martini and is talking to Sera, to ask her out for dinner! Honeymoon in Vegas: the majority of the Las Vegas- scenes were shot in and around the Bally`s! Watching Con Air last night, I noticed a few links between Con Air and National Treasure 1+2: Con Air: Cyrus calls Garland Greene a "national treasure"! Con Air: Cameron`s nickname for his wife is "hummingbird"! NT2: Ben`s mom gives "hummingbird" to Patrick as a clue for Ben! Jerry Bruckheimer is listed as the producer of all three movies (Con Air and NT1+2)! Hi Ladies, Been a long time since I was here. Sorry, all. I love to read all of those neat movie "winks" as you say. I never noticed those before too much either. As I'm into the movie and the actor! Not noticing the little stuff like this. Those are great finds. I'm been staying busy with family and my grand kids. Not been on fan sites for awhile. Watching Ghost Rider last night, I recognized a quote, that is similar to one in GR2: Spirit of Vengeance: GR: Blackheart (to Roxanne, at San Venganza, as Blackheart senses the Ghost Rider, who is on his way): "The Rider is coming!" GR2: Danny (to his mom, in the car, after they flee from the quarry, as Danny senses the Ghost Rider, who is after them): "He`s coming!" Not sure, if we already have it here, but, watching "Con Air" last night, I noticed two "Kick Ass"- references: On DEA- agent Malloy`s licence plate: "AZZ KIKR" (sounds a bit like "Kick Ass")! In "NEXT", Nic`s character, Cris, mentions, that he "likes rain"! Watching "Pay the Ghost" last night, I noticed a "Goethe"- reference, like a famous poem or a play, the famous german poet wrote: Pay the Ghost: Nic`s character, Mike Lawford (although, on the dvd- special feature: "behind the scenes/interviews", they list his character as Mike Cole), recites a few verses from " the erlking", which is one of Goethe`s poems! The Sorcerer`s Apprenice: The story is original based on the poem "The Sorcerer`s Apprentice", written by Goethe! GR (1+2): Nic`s character, Johnny Blaze makes a "faustian pact" with Mephistopheles/Rourke! "Faust" is a famous drama from Goethe! And, "Mephistopheles", the name for the devil in the GR1 is also the devil`s name in the play!
