Our Dame Ragnelle has inspired me to share some 'poetry' I've written over the years. I thought I'd keep them all in this one thread, and just add to it ( far better to contain these rambles in the one place )
It's a special day today, the autumn equinox and the harvest full moon, so this is a poem I Wrote for the full moon a couple of years back.
Swollen silver moon, Tug me through this soulful window, Across indigo fields of infinite sky, Sweep me beyond my understanding; Through divinely burning rivers Of ultra violet white, Through Magic Prism colours, stars and Kaleidoscopic spiral plumes of light, To eternal flows of blossoming freedom; Wrapped in irridescent angels wings, Laughing beyond all sound In the realms of their voices, Unfolding in waves Of endless loving cascades.... Then release me, gently, Back into my breathing, Where the glistening magic earth Will enfold my slow surrendering, With her loving soul hold Of deep gold
Thank you for the comment about how you experienced it Lady T! Sensual is interesting, you're right and I'd not seen it! The mystic poets like Rumi, talk of their spiritual unfolding and connecting with the divine as 'lovers' and like feeling drunk and intoxicated. I can only say when I wrote it there was no sensuality on a physical level...but definitely a spiritual bliss. the moon is such an energy and force to behold...humbling and beautiful.
Aaaah I missed that unique voice of yours, your poems always ring so true! Love your imagery in this one, and I totally agree with Lady Trueheart: this was definitely sensual!
Thanks for sharing Lula, and please post more of your stuff... it´s sooo worth a read!
In honour of today's special blue full noon, a couple more of my full moon poems.
The sea shivers at her touch, Laughing, Scattering wands of light, Until stillness, an obsidian mirror, Reflecting her cool white burning, Honoured, Echoing love across the sky Heaving a chord change in their eyes the diamond stars In a weeping minor key, Lay down their hearts To something much greater than they could ever be
I'm never sure how to receive responses to stuff of mine, because it's been born and i couldn't help it, lol! But thanks Lady True, these are old..I would love the energy to return. I'm glad you liked that image,

I am not sure what you asked Tues, but I think the answer is YES!
being fully present whatever the environment is a meditation for me Lady True, but being with nature, dissolving with nature, is powerful for me right now!
today I just got one word, as i watched the blue sky.. and the clouds were drifting so slowly, so gently, so silently, so sedately..
