New Orleans seems to have become his home from home, so hopefully he'll enjoy the shoot, atleast the environment!
From what I can gather Nic has been in Louisiana for a while doing reshoots for Season of The Witch... A twitter friend has a small part as a peasant girl and they just wrapped a couple of days ago!
Joel Schumacher is ready to start filming in Shreveport on Monday [30] on the thriller starring Nicole Kidman and Nicolas Cage.
Karl Gajdusek and Eli Richbourg wrote the screenplay and Irwin Winkler and David Winkler of Winkler Films are producing alongside Rene Besson.
Avi Lerner serves as executive producer for Nu Image / Millennium Films along with Danny Dimbort, Trevor Short, Boaz Davidson and John Thompson, with Jill Cutler handling duties for Winkler Films.
Cam Gigandet, who will star in Screen Gems’ upcoming musical Burlesque, Ben Mendelsohn, Jordana Spiro, Dash Mihok, and Liana Liberato round out the key cast.
Kidman and Cage play a husband and wife taken hostage by four brutal perpetrators seeking a big score. Complications ensue amid the unexpected discovery of betrayal and deception

He's been in Louisiana doing reshoots for Season? How strange....How the heck do they make Louisiana look like Hungary? Hey! It's Hollywood Magic, right?

Lol! Def a different kind of location! but I'm going to keep my eyes firmly on the mountainous horizon and beautiful landscapes we have seen already for Season of The Witch!
Imagine how weird it would be two have to switch gear between the two films .... At least this is confirmation that Nic is actually in Trespass!
So we now have our first glimpse of Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidmans' characters being held at gunpoint by kidnappers in 'Trespass':
And we have an intriguing plot teaser from the director Schumacher: " There are cross connections between the family and criminals and many secrets come out."
I am excited to see Nic in this role and have a feeling this is going to be an awesome thriller with some brilliant writing and a very clever plot!
Voodoo Child, I reckon you should let that excitement flow...the build up is part of the whole and I love it!
I'm glad Nic didn't play the villain in this one, for me that would be almost like putting one foot in the pigeon hole...I don't know why I feel that. Don't want him to go totally Christopher Walken. This role sounds kind of unique to me. But then again...Nic never seems to play one dimensional all good or all bad characters does he...there are always shades and tones... Hmmm I wonder if this husband is going to be all that squeaky clean or if there will be more to it....?
