Awesome seeing Nic sit astride that bike and start it up like that and who noticed the Dr Calligari mention? you know, when I first saw the film and gave my initial reaction  here i really felt an oldskool horror vibe!

That was cool, and I noticed the Dr Caligari mention too, Lula, I wonder what he was referring to.

I may be wrong, but I got the impression from reading the article from Tess that the story of Nic's injury was given out to disguise the fact they were filming there?

I have watched this vid a few times to try and see what part of the story board Nic is looking at on the wall Lady T! it could be the feel and design (to me it does have the old horror feeling in places) or maybe beyond stylistics... have you seen The Cabinet of Dr Caligari? I said previously that the Johnny Blaze mid tranformation looked like The (original) Phantom OF The Opera, but Dr Caligaris' Somnambulist Cesare does have a touch of the voodoo mask about him!
