Pronounced 'Eat Owl Shin', they make jangly funk with peculiar, with lyrics that alight themselves upon themes of romances and queerness, without ever settling themselves down. They're an odd, beautiful bunch and also really nice guys to boot! Anyway, their new ep is really grand so I shall publicise it with a shamefaceness that would be shameless if I had any part to play in any of it, which regretfully I haven't - though I did once get to support them with a stand-up act and they played the Macarena for one of my jokes!

I also think they're really smart! Not that that always makes for good music, but in this case, I reckon it helps!

Their first ep 'The Shame of Life' is on Spotify and Grooveshark. Both eps have cover art by my friend Alis.

Talented people, all. Enjoy.

They're very impressive live - their clapping in time is quite extraordinary! Joe's lyrics are interesting ~ sometimes hard to fathom, but always very keenly felt. I'll pass on that you enjoyed! :D
