Thank you, dear Lula, for posting this amazing and awesome making of! And thanks to tess for finding it! It is such a wonderful making of. I remember this making of from the DVD. To hear, how the actors, the director and some of the crew comment on that heavenly movie, is really so fantastNICal! Nic plays his character so great, that you could almost believe, he is really that angel, he is playing!
Imagine, there are really angels around us, unseen, observing, helping us with all their pure, unconditional love!
Everyone on that movie, did such an amazing job!

Wow Lula, these are lovely clips, truly amazing! City of Angels is a very beautiful movie, and it is great to see behind the scenes and to see how they all made it. And it's realy fun to see Nic having fun in the sea, and that he became friends with the everybody :) And first I even didn't noticed that they didn't had foothprints, and I also didn't knew Nic realy sat on such a construction of a building! So, that are some other things I know now, realy thank you, I loved these clips, realy interesting =)

I agree with you both Lady Arwen and eva, a real treat to revisit, I always enjoy hearing Nic talk about his perception of teh character he is playing and their motivations.
City Of Angels really is a magical film and how wonderful to see all the people involved in the creation of that magic!
the dark coats and the idea of angels as shadows walking amongst us that we can almost see resonates with me, as do the themes of consciousness, life and death, the soul, that are all there in this movie anddone in such a beautiful unpreaching way through this magical love story.
I was saving this until I had time to really enjoy it, which I did. I think I have seen some of the second video, with Meg mostly, but this was mostly new and really interesting. I especially enjoyed seeing Nic talk about the construction site scene. As someone with a terrible fear of heights I am in awe of them being brave enough to do that. I can't imagine it at all. I think what he said was true, most people would just think it was fake. (and now I know where those pics of Nic laughing and on the cell came from!)
By the way, is there a scene where Meg runs in the water in the movie? I don't recall it. And what's with Nic's hat, advertising laundry soap? lol! Thank you tess and Lula, for posting these.
