This is certainly a vintage interview but if you know Howard Stern's show, you will know the style of questions he likes to ask! Nic just came into the studio on the off chance but man does he gets bombarded.... The vultures descend! Despite the line of questioning, Nic is, as always, gracious and a gentleman.

It's funny Lula, I remember this interview as it aired on one of the local radio stations in California. It was an interesting interview and you're right, Nic stayed a true gentlemen thru it all...

Hey Lady T! Well, back then, when Nic did this interview, Penelope had already moved on to Tom Cruise but media whores kept asking her what her relationship was with Nic and she contended that they were nothing more than friends.
When Howard Stern mentioned this to Nic and asked about their relationship, though he was koy about it, Nic said that he would have liked to have thought that their relationship was more than just friends.

agree, I have no idea what came over me when i posted this...because it is the antithesis of my philosophy and representative of all I abhor about "celeb culture". I guess it shows how Nic maintained his dignity (and the other people he was being questioned about)
Well, I would not delete it just because some like myself find Stern offensive, I hate his attitude about women. It is an interview that Nic chose to do, he dropped in of his own accord, apparently, so it is part of his interview history. It isn't one of those things where shows like TMZ accost them while they are out minding their own business.
But this version is no longer viewable to me, it says it's private, so I assume the same for others who try to view? There is another on you tube now that isn't private.

I think it would be fair to say you are not alone in finding it offensive, but let's leave it up for now if not only to show how intrusive some aspects of celeb culture deem it ok to be...and how nobly Nic handled it.... a true knight!
I think it's fine to leave up. As you say, Nic agreed to do it and I'm sure he and his team were completely aware of the type of show format Nic was entering in. Anyone who goes on Howard's show, knows what they are up against.
