appeals also to my increasing desperation for greater awareness of "environmental issues " a phrase which falls too numbly off the tongue these days, and there is def room in Nic's filmography for 'issue' films isn't there?!

Hmmm I remember Nic once saying in an interview that noone wanted to watch a film on the dalai lama, or watch the soaring eagle, they would rather watch the monkey play alluding to certain kinds of films,  well i think it depends how issues are presented, it doesnt have to be as boring as watching paint dry! and there is a monkey in captain planet!

He would make a great James Bond Villain, and he would also make a great James Bond! ( Tuxedo alert ) But as Nic himself once said in an interview, sadly he would not be considered for the role because he is american!

I think it says alot about Nic as an actor that people would equally love to see him as a hero and villain and know that he would be amazing in either role!

Yes I agree Gina! it was such an exciting premise for a cool comedy!here are loads of projects  woudl love to have seen Nic in, the film adaptation of The Sadhu wtith Deepak adn Gotham Chopra stands out for me and recently i posted something about the film adaptation of 'Tears Of Love' which focusses on the life of mystic poet Rumi http://cagealotcastle.activeboard.com/t44507488/nic-was-to-direct-film-adaptation-of-tears-of-love-based-on-/ but he no longer has an involvement in that.

I think I would find it odd to se Nic as a straight comedy character....all the comedy he has done has another dimension or Cageiness to it.  could you say that The Bad Lieutenant was a dark comedy for example? Possibly alot more darkness than comedy. I would love to see him do another comedy with a massive slice of edge, I have a feeling GR2 will have that but i am thinking something more along the lines of Vampire's Kiss, which is in fact a psychological thriller tragedy disguised very well as an epic dark comedy.

Lady T I would love to see Nic in a western too, and now he can ride a horse, there really is no excuse! can you see that being like a classic western? Maybe a time travelling cowboy. or something more supernatural for some reason I always thought Nic would have rocked as Jonah Hex, in a deep way!

I am so with you on any collaboration between Nic and David Lynch, we were talking about this a while back.. I would love something really out there and completely artistically abstract in it's composition, and honestly, any plot would do for me with that synergy (Wild At Heart 2 will never happen but it could be very cool in terms of sequels!)   Steven Spielberg would also be an epic combinationfor a sci fi ...but you have really got my wheels spinning with the idea of Nic playing himself..you mean in his own life story? Intriguing!

Maybe, in the next movie, Jack could discover he had a twin brother 'Nic Sparrow' :P I think Nic and Johnny Depp would play great togheter, especialy becouse they already are friends!
