Oh yes, me too! Not long now for the DVD! I am sure I will have many favourite scenes, this is just one of them!

I am particularly looking forward to the one where Behmen releases the dodgy guide from the stocks, by chopping off his shackels with a sword! and the bridge scene obviously ...and the scenes where our friend Rebekah appears !and pretty much any scene with Nic in, come to think of it!!!

I agree Meg, this is what i love about having the dvd...the ability to indulge to your hearts content!

Bringing matters back to this particular clip, it was said in mny of the reveiws that Nic gave , I think one critic called it a "dead pan" performance. I do not agree at all, there is passion in this movie, expressed (as here) or contained and seething!

I watched some Greek mythology movie not too long ago, almost everyone had a British accent, even the Americans! I thought that was so funny, faking a British acccent to play a Greek mythological figure. That seems to be because it sounds more classical, I guess, but hardly accurate. I personally think everyone should just talk in their own accent when doing period pieces, the reality of what people sounded like then is probably completely different from what we would imagine.

I think I remember Nic saying in an interview that he spoke in a way that was considered appropriate for that time, based on research, and he was voice coached.
