Yeah!! This is very cool, girls after my own heart..especially with the raw garlic! this vegan could eat most of that, while watching Raising Arizona! They are really creative, what an awesome idea! chickendance

Some of those trivia questiona are hard...what did Nic get annoyed about on the set of Raising Arizona? bouncy

Yes, I thought it was a fun idea for a movie night, and I like that they were health conscious and quite vegan friendly. Going to pass this on to my vegetarian neice for ideas. I can't find the recipes printed anywhere though, I thought they were at the end of the second video, but not so.

I think I have read something about Nic getting annoyed on the set of RA for some reason but can't recall now. Wasn't it something he thought was right for the character to do and the Coens disagreed?

I wonder what other movie from Nic's repartoire would lend itself to a movie recipe night?

I am looking for it, Lula, but haven't found it yet, pretty sure it was in some early interview with Nic.

 

And, I know you are vegan so wouldn't eat them, but I have always loved that scene in Moonstruck ( well, I love every scene in Moonstruck!) where Cher comes home and her Mom is cooking eggs, it looks so yummy, makes me hungry thinking of them. And, surprise, there they were when I went looking!

I love this scene in Moonstruck Lady True!

Hmmmm the first movie that comes to mind is Matchstick Men, not exactly cooking but Roy's compulsive obsessive preparations of that one tin of tuna fish a day!hungry.gif

There have to be more.........!
