I am always thrilled to read any news on Ghost Rider Spirit Of Vengeance! Thanks to comicbookmovie.com. for the heads up, this is what Idris Elba says about his character and working alongside Nic on the movie! *On The "Alcoholic Monk" He Plays In Ghost Rider 2:* "That’s a pretty good description of him...except there are no martial arts. There is some fighting, but in the end he resorts to a gun — sorry. He’s also French. That’s the other part of the description you missed. I kind of adopted an Algerian French accent for that role and had a great time doing it. I liked playing that part." On What It Was Like Working Alongside Actor Nic Cage: "Nic is a very generous actor. When you have an actor of that size and weight, who has been around that long, and you have an ensemble cast, he doesn’t have to do all the things he does to make the cast comfortable. He’ll feed you lines himself again and again and again. He’s very polite to the crew, talks to everyone, doesn’t mind stepping up to his own mark to line up a shot [instead of using a stand-in]. He sounds like an interesting man, I look forward to seeing him in GR2. And I think generous is a good word to describe Nic as an actor, all his co-stars talk about how wonderful he is to work with. Perhaps in his interpretations too, not small in his ideas, rather generous and big of heart. __________________

His character is definitely sounding more interesting as time goes by! There was also talk of Idris Elba playing Luke Cage, not sure if that was just a rumour though, but that would be kismet, with Nic's name change partly based on that Marvel character! Nic just sounds so NICe to work with, the opposite of a diva! __________________
