I am very happy about it!

Drive Angry (in Brazil, Fúria Sobre Rodas), which opened in Brazil last weekend, topped the box office in the country, raising almost R$ 1.9 million (more than $ 1.1 million) between Friday and Sunday.

Until now, the film took more than 140 000 people to cinemas.

Reading some reviews published in Brazil, I realized that some people understand the spirit of the film (at least what I consider to be).
They realize it's a movie made for fun, and does not pretend to give lessons to anyone.

Another thing I noticed the reactions of the public, the boysaccepted the film better than girls. I don't know why! chortle

What excellent news Cristina, your country clearly has impeccable taste in movies!! starry thank you for sharing this happy bit of news! hug

Am I right in thinking that Season Of The Witch also opened top of the box office in Brazil too? knight

These days i seem to be more in the company of females than males, virtually and in real life, and ALL of them who have seen it, loved Drive Angry! I do agree though that the internet seems to be more buzzing with fanboys around this movie..but in reality I am not seeing any gender divide over it. car2

Hi Tues manIc!

Thanks! I must say that I use translator. :) But I know a little of the language, so it helps me correct some misunderstandings. I'm better in reading than in writing or listening.

About the girls feel uncomfortable watching movies with hottest scenes in public, I agree. I am also one of them, haha!

Hi Lula!

You are welcome!

Yes, Season of the Witch debuted at the top of the box office and, if I remember correctly, it remained so for another week. \0/

This reaction that I speak of is exactly what I read on the internet. Women seem to be more resistant to enjoy the movie. Men are always more enthusiastic.
