Kick Ass wins award from Empire Magazine!	Permalink

Kick Ass won the Jameson Empire Award, sponsored by the British magazine Empire, which happened on Sunday at the Grovesnor House Hotel in London. The film won for Best British Film and was represented by the screenwriter Jane Goldman, Dexter Fletcher and the actors Mark Strong and producer David Reid. Still to Kick Ass and Let Me In, Chloe Moretz won the award for Best Newcomer. Hi Cristina, This is a really NICe piece of news, thank you for sharing it with us! Congratulations to the writer Jane Goldman who worked with Mark Millar to bring his comic book Kick Ass to the screen, and the director, and all the actors! Just to add a geeky interesting fact, Nic himself ws nminated for three awards for his performance in Kick Ass: 2010 Teen Choice Award for Best Movie Actor in an Action Adventure, 2010 Scream Award for Best Superhero and 2010 Scream Award for Best Fantasy Actor. __________________

I am as glad to hear of all these award nominations. His life is an action adventure! He's as interestin' to read about as to see. Love Kick-Ass enough to watch 8xs! & that rendition of Bruce Lee comes to mind everytime. __________________ S.C.
