great to see some voting going on here folks...8 MM taking the lead!

I a m not sure which would be the darker role, Bringing Out The Dead or 8MM? in both, Nic's character is in danger of losing his soul in a vocation that has led him beyond the point of no return it seems. staggeringly awesome character portrayals for all of them.

Another theme running in these movies is the conflicted hero.....in Snake Eyes we have Rick the corrupt cop faced with one heck of a moral dilemma, in 8MM we have Tom facing an investigation that takes him over the line and beyond and into a choice in unchartered territory for his psyche, in Bringing OUt The Dead we have the burnt out paramedic who saves lives but feels it is beyond his conrol and his impetus and is imploding into greater darkness where even the light of love shines only dimly as if he can't register it with his burntout eyes...... nobody does it better than Nic.starry

Thanks for voting clc, both of them in my opinion are highly undersung films and performances from Nic. I am wondering if 9MM will get more attention when Trespass comes out, as the film where Joel Schumacher and Nic worked together previously? action

Wow1 I can't believe I never voted in this poll, must have missed it. I love all three in different ways, but BOTD has to be number one for me, it is my favourite of his movies.

Thanks, for bumping this up, Lady T.! I haven`t voted in this poll before, as well! It is, indeed, a tricky one, as I was torn apart between Snake eyes and BOTD. 8mm, to me, is too dark, so I voted for BOTD!
