Nicolas Cage is filming the sequel to “Ghost Rider” in Turkey. Turkey’ Anatolia news agency says the Hollywood actor arrived at the film set Thursday in the town of Goreme in the Cappadocia region, which is famous for caves, houses made of rock and unusual stone formations.
Tourists from around the world visit subterranean cities carved out of soft stone in Cappadocia or ride in hot-air balloons above the mushroom-shaped stone formations.
Anatolia says some parts of the movie will also be filmed in the Turkish province of Denizli, where white limestone terraces of calcium deposits also draw tourists.
Thanks ZooKeeper! I swear one of the perks of Nic's job that I'm jealous of is that he gets to film and visit so many parts of the world. I mean....OMG....TURKEY! How cool is that?
