He really has a lovely voice in these clips. Reminded of the article about Lynch posted here awhile back where he talked about that first scene. All the screaming was spontaneous, they fell under his spell too! Yes! Doesn't Nic have a great singing voice Lady True! that first scene in particular is so captivating...he has Elvis down ... Even the Elvis dimple and smile! and yet a something extra that is quintessential Nicolas Cage... Deep..brooding...sexy..sensual....kinetic....And it's that energy I love in Sailor. Here is another favourite movie music moment ( but really just an excuse to share another favourite scene of the movie ) The music Moves from the punky 'Slaughterhouse' by Powermad and morphs into sublimely beautiful 'Im Abendrot' (Strauss)...
