My memory may be playing tricks on me, but Nic mentioned Shumryu Suzuki's book 'Zen Mind Beginners mind' in an older interview, when he explored zen and medititation. one to take to a desert island if you had to choose, in my opinion!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Yes, I do like meditation, but probably don't get around to doing it as often as I should. I did not know that Nic was interested in Buddhism, but I have to say I'm not too surprised. Glad to meet all of you and I'm looking forward to talking Cage (or other things) with you.

1. What makes you a fan of Nicolas Cage?  

A: What makes a person a fan of anything? I love Nick. I'm old enough to be his mom, so I call him my 'son from a different mother.' I love to watch him ply his trade. Play roles that challenge him no mattter how off the wall they are. He's a pleasure to see.


2. What was the last film you saw?

Of Nic's? Ghost Rider 2. At all? I watched National Treasure 2 last night. In theaters recently? Brave.


3. Which book would we find on your bedside table right now? 

Edgar Rice Burroughs LOST ON VENUS


4. If you were a colour what would it be? 

Black


5. If you were to come back as a bird, animal or mammal in your next life which would it be?

Hm...let me think...Wolf?


6. Generally speaking, is your glass half empty, or half full?

Half full.

7. How would you describe Nicolas in 10 words or less?
 

Intelligent, Talented, Fan-boy, Funny, Serious, Adventurous, Troubled, Handome, Curious, and Wacky.

8. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Morocco

Pictures, interviews, reviews, fellow Nic-Fitters.


10. Anything else you would like to share about yourself?

I am presently 65 years old, I'm an artist and a writer. I am presently working on a book series where I have cast Nic as my lead character. I've written two books and have started the 3rd. Having a good time.

I was born and raised in the New Orleans area.  

I enjoy cooking. I'm Cajun/Apache in heritage. Whovian by nature. I love the Loup Gaoru.  I graduated College in 1970 an illustration and photography major.

I'm owned by a shecat named Artemis.

I'm an avid reader. I love movies and music. I love fishing. I shop farmer's markets and cook from scratch.

I currently reside in Michigan.

It's really cool that you've written books, and that you are an artist! I like drawing Nic and I have made one painting of him, I am curious to see something from your work ^^.

-That certain style of calm and cool as only he can do it.

2. What was the last film you saw?
-Of Mr. Cage's, Kick-Ass. Aside from that, the action movie Hanna.

3. Which book would we find on your bedside table right now?
-I actually leave them everywhere besides my bedside table, as that's occupied by my CD player.  The last few books I've checked out are Bitterblue, The Horn of Moran, and The Rogue Crew(Redwall).

4. If you were a colour what would it be?
-Green, I suppose

5. If you were to come back as a bird, animal or mammal in your next life which would it be?
-Probably something small and furry that could either be a pet or a pest.

6. Generally speaking, is your glass half empty, or half full?
-Dunno, I drink too fast to tell.

7. How would you describe Nicolas in 10 words or less?
-An expressive and creative individual.

8. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
-Australia, as that country and its people seem inordinately awesome, and also the Dee river in Scotland. My ancestors on my mom's side were from that area.

9. Which part of Cagealot Castle interests you the most?
-At the moment, I guess it would be the Hall of Creativity.

- I'm silly and wacky and love music, and love the outdoors.
