I guess it depends on whether one is rating his role or the film! I mean, I'm very fond of Fast Times at Richmond High, but regrettably Cage isn't given much to do, which can only be to its detriment!

My personal list would have to include Wild At Heart and Birdy, at the least.

Way too hard to choose, and I agree with Sprocket, depends on if you are rating the role or movie. I love Nic in just about all the roles I've seen him in, but some of the movies not so much.

I would include Birdy, The Rock, Raising Arizona, The Weather Man, Matchstick Men, Con-Air, Bad Lieutenant....oops, see what I mean, too hard!

that's six Lady Fay..and therein lies the problem! My list is a little like Darkdaans.... i really have tried over the decades to narrow it down to even a top ten...goodness knows I've been asked enough times! but I cannot! purplestar
I do go through phases though where some have precedence over others for a brief period..right now I'm in a Sorcerer's Apprentice, Valley Girl, Knowing, Ghost Rider, Bangkok Dangerous, Moonstruck, Vampire's Kiss, Sonny, Lord Of War, and National Treasure Book of Secrets mood..... But i feel a change in the offing..and so it goes!! action

its hard for me to narrow them down but I do know for sure my top 2 favorites are Con Air and then Face/Off, almost a tie.
